Two Steps

My little bear took his first steps today.  I set him on the kitchen floor, after breakfast, and proceeded to clear the table.  Rose was playing in the other room on George’s new toy (thanks for the b-day present Granny!).  Rose called “come play with me George” and reached out her hands to him.  And he took one little step forward (I caught the movement out of the corner of my eye).  Rose said “Mommy! George took a step!”.  I turned and looked at him, and he took another step towards his big sis.  Then plunked down and crawled over.  I wish I could have got a pic, but the camera was on the other side of the room.  Oh well!

 My baby boy is becoming a toddler!!!

It was a little bittersweet that Kurt couldn’t see it.  We knew George wouldn’t likely wait until Daddy comes home in November
